William Vollero, M.D. is a Board Certified Psychiatrist, who attended Yale as an undergraduate, earned his medical degree at Tufts University and conducted his psychiatric residency at the University of Southern California (USC) Medical Center. He is a Clinical Associate Professor of Psychiatry at USC, has served as the Chief of Staff, Medical Director of Geriatric Psychiatry, Medical Director of Psychiatric Partial Hospitalization and in multiple other leadership positions at Methodist Hospital of Southern California (MHSC), as well as on the medical staff of several other hospitals. He is a Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association, a member of multiple other professional associations in psychiatry, and has served as the President of the Section on Psychiatry of the Los Angeles County Medical Association (LACMA). He has particular expertise in Geriatric Psychiatry, in which he also has Board Certification, and treats a broad range of psychiatric conditions and populations. He has a commitment to helping the underserved and has consulted to the homeless mentally ill of Santa Barbara County, to the developmentally disabled through the Tri-Counties Regional Center, and has been a member of Physicians for Social Responsibility. He has worked in many other community service positions as well, while conducting a private practice of psychiatry for over thirty years.
